Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Licensed Aesthetician located in Cincinnati, OH. We seek an experienced, highly skilled, and compassionate aesthetician with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a medical spa, luxury spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting. The successful team member will possess a strong understanding of aesthetic principles, advanced skincare techniques, and a commitment to patient satisfaction. This role requires a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent clinical judgment, precision, strong communication skills, a keen understanding of current aesthetic trends, and a dedication to delivering optimal aesthetic results and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Consultation & Planning:
Offer warm, friendly, and professional consultations, thoroughly educating patients to choose personalized treatment plans with recommended services and products.
Conduct thorough skin analyses, discuss client concerns and goals, and recommend appropriate skincare treatments and products.
Create detailed and customized treatment plans for each client consultation/appointment.
Aesthetic Treatments & Patient Care:
Provide the highest quality aesthetic treatments, ensuring safety, precision, and patient comfort.
Perform a variety of aesthetic treatments including, but not limited to: Facials (basic, corrective, hydrating, anti-aging), Chemical peels, Dermaplaning, and other treatments.
Call patients to provide comprehensive pre- and post-treatment instructions.
Conduct follow-up phone calls to patients pre/post treatments to introduce yourself and answer any questions, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
Consistently create and post engaging content on social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to showcase treatments, highlight patient transformations (with consent), educate the audience, and enhance brand awareness.
Input patient information into relevant customer loyalty programs to ensure patients receive applicable benefits.
Participate in social events to promote the practice and engage with the community.
Support sales efforts by discussing and recommending appropriate professional and medical grade skincare products, managing product inventory, and assisting patients with purchases.
Possess in-depth knowledge of professional and medical skincare lines carried by Tork Plastic Surgery. Educate clients on product benefits, usage, and home care regimens. Achieve retail sales goals.
Clinical Excellence & Compliance:
Maintain patient retention through exceptional care and results.
Stay consistently current with any new developments, techniques, and changes within the aesthetic industry, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Report treatment results to the supervising doctor, including any observed adverse reactions, ensuring correct protocol for reporting adverse reactions.
Provide accurate, thorough, and timely charting and clinical documentation. Our office utilizes user-friendly AI technology to streamline documentation, making charting efficient and straightforward.
Meet or exceed productivity goals individually and as a group, while serving the patient at the highest level.
Work in establishing monthly/quarterly goals in conjunction with the CEO and practice manager and other staff.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of and interest in current trends and aesthetic treatments.
Possess a strong understanding of various med spa services and effective medical-grade skincare.
Maintain strict adherence to all sanitation and sterilization protocols for equipment, treatment rooms, and instruments, in accordance with state regulations and clinic policies.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and common areas.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited aesthetician program.
Licensure: Valid and current Aesthetician license in the state of Ohio is required.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Licensed Aesthetician, preferably in a medical spa, luxury spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting.
Must be a self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Strong enthusiasm for social media and content creation for a professional aesthetic practice.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a focus on building patient trust and rapport.
Proficiency in using practice management software, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), customer relationship management (CRM) tools for lead management and data input (e.g., spreadsheets, Excel).
Comfortable embracing and utilizing new technologies, including AI-powered tools, to enhance efficiency and patient care.
Professional demeanor and appearance, reflecting the high standards of a luxury aesthetic practice.
Proven expertise in a wide range of aesthetic treatments.
Excellent knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and various skin conditions.
Ability to build rapport with clients and provide personalized care.
Proficient in using various aesthetic equipment and technologies.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.
